Wytheville Community Center Delayed Opening
The Wytheville Community Center will open at 8am on 12/5/25 due to potential hazerdous weather. Please note that this is subject to change depending on the severity of the weather.
Parks and Recreation Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather the facility operating hours at the Wytheville Community Center may be modified to open at a later time or close early. If this were to occur all participants registered for programs or facility rentals will be notified as soon as possible.
Athletics participants will be notified through their coaches alerting if there is a change in game schedule, locations or cancellations. Coaches will typically post to their designated Band app groups in this event.
Afterschool Kidventures program participants and their parents will be notified as soon as possible if there are changes in hours of operations either due to a facility or school closure. Notifications will be sent through the designated Band app with these changes.
