The Office of Town Engineer is responsible for coordinating many projects in the Town limits, as well as some projects outside the Town limits.

F. Trevor Hackler Trevor was employed with the Town of Wytheville in April 2001. He is responsible for supervising and assisting with the design of construction plans, performing complete surveys for location and design, and compiling construction cost estimates for Town projects; supervision of mapping and GIS development; administration of storm water and erosion regulations; and the review of private project development plans. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Bluefield State College in 1993. Received EIT designation in 2003. |

Keri Vass Keri came to the Engineering Department as Assistant Engineer in April 2008. She has nineteen years experience in civil engineering. Her duties include survey and drafting for design of various projects including utility installation/upgrade, communicating with contractors, acquiring rights of way as needed, preparation of deeds, researching records, record keeping, assistance with zoning issues, coordinating the bid process for various projects, assistance with the water treatment and waste water treatment plants and reviewing erosion and sediment plans for new construction sites including necessary inspections. She has also received certification from New River Community College as a construction cost estimator. |

Carson E. Frye Carson Frye has been with the Town of Wytheville since 1973. After retiring from the Town of Wytheville as Assistant Town Engineer, with thirty years experience in the Town's Engineering Department, he works part-time as an engineering consultant for the Town and assists with the every day activities of the Engineering Department. |

Brian Freeman Brian began working for the Town of Wytheville in March of 2008. He is responsible for the development of the town's Geographic Information Systems (GIS), 911 addressing, and the GPS and mapping needs for all departments. Brian also assists with the daily activities of the Engineering department and offers assistance on planning related issues including the review of Site Plans, Erosion & Sediment Control Plans, and Storm Water Management Plans. |
