Dara has been employed with the Town of Wytheville since July 1990 in the Treasurer's Office. Her job duties include: serves as cashier receiving payments for water bills, real estate taxes, personal property taxes, vehicle decals, garbage stickers, cat licenses, business licenses, permits, various monies from the Recreation, Police, and Rock House departments. She serves as receptionist and processes incoming mail. She receives and records meals & lodging taxes and maintains accounts receivable files. Additional job duties include responding to tax requests, providing clerical support to the Treasurer and other staff, responsible for maintaining office supply and inventory, and purchasing supplies. She maintains fire call records for the Volunteer Fire Department and submits for payment. In addition, she provides backup to the Accounts Payable Technician. Dara also attended Wytheville Community College.

Jennifer M. Bird
Jenni is the newest addition to the Treasurer's office. She has been employed since July 2006. She assists customers with water bills, real estate and personal property taxes, permits, vehicle decals, business licenses, refuse decals, garbage tags and cat tags. She also assists the cemetery manager and accounts payable clerk and maintains real estate tax requests. Jenni is a 2001 graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
