Distilleries
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the Town of Wytheville, Virginia, at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 9, 2012, in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building to consider amending the Town of Wytheville Zoning Ordinance to add breweries, distilleries, and wineries as permitted uses in the following districts: Article XII – Industrial District M-1, and, Article XIII – Industrial District M-2; and, also, to amend Article III – Definitions to include the definitions of breweries, distilleries, and wineries. A copy of the proposed amendments can be viewed at the Municipal Building. Handicapped persons needing aid or assistance should contact the government prior to the meeting by calling (276) 223-3353.
Advertisement for Child Care Providers
The Town of Wytheville is seeking proposals from qualified Child Care Providers for the operation of the Child Care Center located at the Wytheville Community Center. Information regarding requirements for the proposal is available on the Town’s website at www.wytheville.org, or is available by contacting the Office of the Town Manager at (276) 223-3350, 150 East Monroe Street, Wytheville, Virginia, 24382, and requesting a copy. Proposals shall be received or postmarked by 5:00 p.m. on February 16, 2012. A pre-proposal conference will be held on January 31, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Child Development Center located at 333 Community Boulevard. The Town reserves the right to waive informalities in the proposals and to accept or reject any/all proposals when in the Town’s best interest.
